Hey there, DETECTIVES! DETECTIVE WRITER here to tell you that if you had little ones, whether they are your nieces or nephews, little brothers, sisters, your neighbor’s kid or even your own kid, you’ve probably had to sacrifice watching thrillers and murder mystery once or twice if they were around you. Well, I’m here to give you a great solution! Whether it’s PG-13, PG, or G rated, there’s no need to give up on your interests. Fun doesn’t always have to be Rated R. But I warn you, as a 90s kid, I may take you back to a few throwbacks. Don’t judge! Of course, always be sure to check if your kids are mature enough for a few spooky scenes and you can always decide as to whether or not these moves are right for them. Let’s begin, shall we?
- Monster House (Rated PG- Parental Guidance suggested)
This 2006 film is the perfect match for a stay at home Halloween night! Since, I won’t be revealing too much information… in simple terms, a house is a living monster and did I mention it’s ALIVE?!
- Coraline (Rated PG)
This 2009 film was the talk of the year! Beside the book, the fact that people with buttons for eyes could even be so evil, this movie was awesome. Don’t even get me started with the soundtrack, you can literally search for it on YouTube and it sends chills down your spine.
- Scooby Doo on Zombie Island (Not Rated)
This film is an oldie but a goodie! Definitely be sure that your kids are fine with humans transforming into creepy cat killers but other than that, who can go with our favorite pooch, Scooby Doo?
Well, I definitely hope you’ll consider giving these movies a try with the little ones, DETECTIVES. Let me know in the comments below what they made of it and you can always watch it alone to see if it’s cool with them. Until then, keep on sleuthing DETECTIVES!
