Hey there, DETECTIVES! DETECTIVE WRITER is here to tell you about an unsolved crime in the United States, specifically in North Carolina, of two individuals: the case of Kisty Faylena Britt and Randy Lee Newman.
On Friday, December 27th, 1996, inside the J&J Convenience Store in Fairmont City in Robeson County, the bodies of 19-year-old Kisty Faylena Britt and 41-year-old Randy Lee Newman were discovered. Both victims were shot to death in the head at close range by a small caliber handgun. The convenience store had also been found to be robbed with over $1,000 cash stolen. While no one knows who the killer(s) was, a small-to-medium red or burgundy car was seen close by, as well as three men who were seen around the store at the time of the robbery/murders. Although there have been possible suspects, the case continues to remain unsolved.
