Hey there, DETECTIVES! DETECTIVE WRITER here to switch topics up and tell you all about a creepy well to me, a statue of the famed but FAKE serial killer, Jason Voorhees. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Jason Voorhees, he is a murderer who goes around targeting anyone in sight and unsurprisingly does not die quickly or easily. Even I don’t know too much about him myself since I personally am not the biggest fan of horror films but as many of us know, word gets around and you can just Google almost anything in a matter of seconds.
Several years ago in 2013, a big fan of the “Jason” films, Doug Klein, created the statue from scraps that he found on construction sites when he worked as an electrician. Klein’s friend, Curtis Lahr, gave him a false head and purchased thrift clothes for about $30 dollars. The statue is currently in a lake in Crosby, Minnesota.
Although Klein initially faced some difficulties attempting to submerge the statue underwater and that people would be tremendously frightened of the statue, through time, those obstacles were no longer an issue. On their YouTube channel, Klein and Lahr have posted various videos filming his dives to see the statue underwater.
TRIGGER WARNING: please feel free to skip ahead if you don’t wish to see the statue but here is it, DETECTIVES.
